Finca Santa Rosa is a unique coffee farm in El Salvador, once planted with pine trees for perfume resin and now growing shade-grown Pacamara beneath a forest canopy. Led by producer Raul of Rivera Coffee, the farm is internationally recognised for its exceptional Pacamara, with multiple top placements in the El Salvador Cup of Excellence. Project Origin began working with Raul after meeting at the 2015 World Barista Championships, which led to the launch of the Best of El Salvador auction in 2016 and 2017. Building on this success, Raul and Finca Santa Rosa helped establish the Denominación Alotepec, ensuring the region’s finest coffees are recognised and valued for their true quality.
