Finca Entre Caminos, meaning “between journeys,” is a family-run farm in the Montecillos region near Marcala, Honduras, managed by producer Fernando Contreras. Established in 2012, the farm is built around a diverse ecosystem of coffee, fruit trees, and native plants that support local wildlife and soil health. Cherries are selectively hand-picked and sorted, then split across two drying methods on raised beds to build complexity, before being recombined into the final lot. Fernando focuses on natural processing to reduce water use while enhancing fruit-driven character in the cup. His approach is rooted in sustainability, community, and a deep respect for the environment, aiming to share the beauty of his farm through every harvest.
