Thageini Wet Mill is one of four processing stations operated by the Aguthi Farmers’ Co-operative Society in Kenya, supporting around 450 member producers and a wider network of 2,000 farmers. The Society provides training in farm management, agronomy, and quality-focused harvesting practices to help improve both productivity and cup quality. Since partnering with Project Origin in 2017, Thageini has benefited from infrastructure investments including carbonic maceration facilities and additional drying beds. Together, Project Origin and Aguthi continue to champion quality, sustainability, and community development, producing exceptional coffees that showcase the best of Kenya.
