Owned by Manasseh Kiboch and his wife, Spikes Estate sits between 1,700–1,800 masl in Kiambu, one of Kenya’s premium growing regions. Established in 2012, the farm now spans over 15 acres across three plots, thriving in rich red volcanic soils and the cool climate of the Aberdare range. Cherries are selectively handpicked, dry fermented for 24 hours, soaked, and then dried on raised beds for up to 18 days to ensure exceptional cup quality. Together with their farm manager, Moses, the family continues to innovate introducing biogas systems and sustainable practices that enrich both their coffee and community.
