Located less than 5km from the Nicaragua-Honduras border, Los Suyates sits in the lush countryside near El Volcán. Mario Gonzalez and his family grow varietals like Catuai and Catimor under natural shade of large trees and among native shrubs that support biodiversity and soil health. The farm uses a variety of processing methods, including carbonic maceration, to bring out unique expressions and ensure consistency in each harvest. With support from Bridazul, Mario has also embraced collaboration and knowledge-sharing among local producers, helping improve quality and strengthen the community.
