We are thrilled to share this coffee with you from our Sojonia Estate Coffees. A new relationship that blossomed from our first visit to the Estate in late 2024. Sojonia is an organization based in Matagalpa connecting various smallholder producers throughout the Matagalpa and Jinotega region. San Antonio comes to us from Maria Mairena. Her family have been growing coffee since 1920s with nearly 35% of the farm’s land protected as natural forests within the El Arenal Natural Reserve. The lush forest is also home to a range of flora and fauna including black panthers that feature on her coffee bags.
