Farm: Juan Tama. Producer: Indigenous Groups of Cacua. Varietal: Mixed Varietal. Process: Washed.

Juan Tama is a wonderful new partnership for TASC in 2019. The indigenous producers of Juan Tama are all working to create more value in their products. Working towards 100% organic harvest techniques, the coffee grows between 2 active volcanoes in Huila & Purace. Their model is based on traditional methods of coffee production, and therefore the cup profile takes on many qualities of this areas terroir. We will continue to support this group for the future and can’t wait to share more of their unique coffees with you.

Farm: Thalanar Estate Producer: Pathy Region: Valparai Varietal: Mixed Varietal Process: Washed

Established in 1959, this farm is located on the Anaimalai Ranges (meaning Elephant Hills in Tamil) and lies on two hills facing west and north. The coffee is grown in the shade of massive, canopy trees. These provide a lot of shade for the coffees and give the estate an appearance of a jungle. Bordering the estate is a national park. These conditions and terroir of the farm create a perfect living environment for the coffees trees to thrive.
